White Light Shadows: Circles, Squares, Triangles

Mounted upon a large rotating platform are three coloured lights (red, green and blue) that continuously circulate around a set of three paper cut outs positioned in the centre. The red, green and blue lights combine to form a clean white light, while casting colourful shadows that constantly shift with the movement of the lights. Three cameras mounted above the record this colourful play of lights on paper, outputting the footage in real time to three cinema sized projections. The resulting wall projections display patterns of interlocking geometric shapes that morph through pastel colour shifts.
